Out of 313 participants, 226 answered "yes" to the survey question. Believers seem to understand that prayer is an important element for any problem. Another important element that is talked about from many of those who answered this survey is the component of faith. One Believer commented, "The only solution for anorexia is Jesus and His finished work on the Cross." Do Christians have faith in Christ and what He accomplished on the Cross? Believers should read God's Word as a way to increase faith and bring revelation.
President, Bill Cooper, of ChristiaNet offered some advice concerning how to pray. He said, "Christians should ask God for wisdom and guidance." In order to experience complete healing, God may lead a Believer to seek professional help. God isn't limited in the way He brings healing to His children. Eating disorders can cause some major health problems and even lead to death. Many of the participants in the survey agreed that seeking medical help may be an important component with the healing process.
Thirty-two readers answered "no" to the survey question and 55 were unsure. One Christian in this group made an interesting point by saying, "Prayer is the prescription and when God presents the medicine we must take it!" God's answer for healing may include more than one prescription. God understands all things and knows what needs to happen for a complete healing to take place, which leads to the comment of another reader who said, "Faith is very important, and the heart must be ready to receive the blessing of the cure." The blessing of the cure may not come in the way that is expected but it will come. Ask God and then trust in Him for the answer. For more information, visit:
